BELPER Town won their opening day game against Histon by the narrowest of margins, but in reality the Nailers should have won more emphatically.

The hosts created at least eight presentable opportunities. but poor finishing let them down.
The best of them came when Belper won a penalty in the 26th minute, but Craig Nelthorpe missed the target.
