■ A LATE goal by man-of-the-match Alfie Belch gave Trafford an unlikely victory at Bootle.
After the hosts’ Elliott Hughes missed a simple early chance, Trafford went ahead when Mike Burke fired home from 15 yards after good work by Belcher.
Ross Davidson made it two with a superb volley past Ryan Jones in the 34th minute, before Hughes crashed the ball home in the 48th minute to reduce the arrears.
