■ A CAUTIOUS game sprang into life in the second half, and it was Clitheroe who built on their big midweek win to take all three points.
The first half was even, but it saw Glossop right-back Sam Barrat taken off with a bad shoulder injury.
Clitheroe opened the scoring after 50 minutes as Sefton Gonzales headed back a Cole Lonsdale corner and player-manager Billy Priestley drove it in.
With 67 minutes gone, a deep Danny Wilkins corner saw Priestley return the favour as he headed back for Gonzales to score.
