AN EVENTFUL afternoon ended all-square as Gainsborough Trinity extended their unbeaten run to five games as a late Adam Senior header saw the points shared.
A feisty first half encounter saw referee Kevin Saunby at the centre of things, causing visitors manager Michael Clegg to be shown a half-time yellow card as he vented his frustrations. The referee had deemed there was not enough reason to award Ashton a penalty in first-half stoppage time.
