T EN-MAN Ilkeston ended Halesowen’s unbeaten league record despite being reduced to ten men for most of the second half in a hard-fought top of the table clash.
The visitors started brightly and home captain Paul McCone cleared off the line from Charlie Wakefield after a mistake from Danny Coogan. The Robins then took a deserved eighth-minute lead when Chris Lait lost the ball allowing Zak Goodson to lash home the winning goal.
