■ YORKSHIRE Amateurs snatched a crucial win during a match featuring two sides suffering from poor recent form.
That form was evident in the opening exchanges, with neither side wanting to concede the first goal.
But, with time running out and as the crowd feared they’d be watching a nil-nil bore draw, it was Adam Priestley for the Ammers who pounced to finish off a quick counter attack.
The home side was able to hold on for a valuable three points but, in all truth, this was far from a classic match.
