■STOCKTON moved into the play-off places after securing back-to-back wins in the league for the first time this season – beating Brighouse.
Alfie Conway capitalised on a mistake from Brett Soutar to give the hosts an early lead, but Brighouse responded within 10 minutes when Laurence Sorhaindo fired home.
Kev Hayes scored a spectacular goal to put Stockton back ahead in the second-half, while the hosts doubled their lead with 13 minutes to play.
Jamie Owens’ low effort cannoned off a post and Nathan Steel was on hand to steer the ball home...
