■ STOCKSBRIDGE Park Steels could have had more in a good victory over out-of-form Ossett United.
Ossett had some early pressure but ended up creating more chances for Stocksbridge than themselves. Jack Cowgill’s bad backpass almost put Luke Mangham through but Mateuz Zaniewski was alert and saved with his feet before the striker could pass him.
For what would be the only goal, Nathaniel Crofts found Josh Nodder with a fantastic cross-field pass.
Nodder then beat his man before curling past the goalkeeper.
