■ SPALDING’S Gregg Smith smashed home a stunning 75th-minute winner to end Halesowen’s long unbeaten run.
The visitors created a good 35th-minute chance when Jordan Macleod was set free, but home goalkeeper Dan Platt made a superb block.
Halesowen’s best chance of their disjointed first half came when Chris Lait’s 42ndminute curling effort was tipped away by goalkeeper Michael Duggan.
