LEEK Town had to stage a second-half comeback to take the points against Glossop North End.
On a day when there were few games on, the 4G pitch at Leek Town allowed this game to go ahead.
Glossop started well and capitalised on their early pressure in the 24th minute when a Bevan Burey long throw was flicked on by Sam Barratt to Jamie Rainford who fired home.
Leek’s equaliser came after the break when Glossop keeper Harry Allen let a weak shot from Daniel Trickett-Smith go through his legs and into the back of the net.
