STAFFORD Rangers saw their play-off chances delt a blow after conceding two first half goals during a home defeat.
They also lost a 13-game unbeaten run which had seen them on the verge of a play-off challenge in the final run of games.
Things had looked very different early in the match when Rangers took a fifth minute lead after Jake Charles fed James O’Neill who headed his side ahead early in the tie.
Despite sitting in mid-table City showed signs of a fightback with Samuel Bailey firing just wide of the Rangers goal.
