■ TODD Jordan’s 88thminute goal gave Belper Town all three points after a strong second-half performance looked to have earned Daventry a point.
The Nailers took an early lead when debutant Reon Benjamin-Potts put Brodie Lichfield clear and he ran on to put the ball past James Martin.
A scrappy second half ensued with neither side creating anything close to a goalscoring opportunity.
Litchfield’s goal looked to have won it for the Nailers, but in the 80th minute Ross Harris squeezed in a far-post header to level the scores.
