PLAY-OFF chasing Whitby Town picked up three valuable points with a solid victory at Grantham Town courtesy of two second half goals.
The opening was even with neither side able to make much impression.
Grantham forced the first corner of the game on eight minutes, but it was Whitby who had the first chance when Lewis Hawkins’ header was saved by James Pollard.
Elliott Durrell saw his chip saved by Shane Bland in the Whitby goal.
