■ NEWCASTLE TOWN and Glossop could not be separated after a game that came to life in the second half.
The first half produced very few openings, with the visitors having a goal by Hugo Rodriguez ruled out for offside.
After the break, Jordan Scott hit the Castle woodwork from 25 yards, while Castle were denied when Harry Allen saved with his legs from Will Lloyd. When Sam Barrett went clear, Joe Slinn made a fine save.

Jamie Rainford was just over with a free-kick, before Castle had an attack scrambled away.
