■ LIVERSEDGE lost pole position in the race for the title after being held by struggling Bridlington Town. A chasm separated the two sides in the table, but it didn’t look like it on the pitch, Max Dearnley producing a fine early save to deny Brett Agnew, only for a penalty for handball to be awarded from the resulting corner.
Dearnley kept out Lewis Dennison’s initial spot-kick, but the full-back gobbled up the rebound.
