LOWLY Gainsborough dented South Shields’ title hopes with a last-gasp equaliser that stretched the Mariners’ winless away run to eight games.
Trinity’s Cameron Johnson had the best chance of the first half, but missed the target.
South Shields then led at the break with their only effort on target when defender Dillon Morse got free round the back to head home Rob Briggs’ left-wing corner.
