■A MATTHEW Cotton hat-trick led Lincoln  United to their first win in ten games and improved their chances of avoiding the drop.
It was Frickley who drew first blood when Dev Morton forced home a corner in the 11th minute.
However, Lincoln were level less than two minutes later when the referee awarded a penalty for hand-ball and Cotton duly obliged from the spot.
Max Baker put the visitors ahead for the first time with a shot from the edge of the box after a long ball over the top.
