■MIKEY Roberts’ late second-half strike secured Stockton’s place in the play-offs after a win at home to Bridlington Town.
It was the perfect start for the home side, who took the lead after three minutes when Liam Cooke’s free-kick was headed into his own net by Nathan Hotte.
Stockton keeper Callum Roberts was called into action and denied Danny Earl.
