BRIGHOUSE bagged their first win of the season in a high-scoring clash with Grimsby Borough.
This clash of two winless sides was ignited by Brighouse’s Jack Boyle, who converted from the penalty spot after 30 minutes.
A minute later, Harrison Beeden scored at the near post from a Boyle corner. Then a Boyle corner from the left was bundled home by Walker for a third goal in five minutes.
Luis Adlard was then put through one-on-one for Grimsby to make it 3-1 on the stroke of half-time.
