CLEETHORPES Town came out on top in a tight encounter at Ossett United.
The visitors had a good shout for a penalty in the opening stages before Ossett keeper Edd Hall made a great save, tipping a header from Curtis Bateson on to the bar.
Ossett’s Michael Hollingsworth saw his effort well saved.
The visitors opening the scoring early in the second half as Dec Howe converted a penalty and they doubled their lead when a Bateson cross evaded everyone and went into the net.
Ossett piled on the pressure and pulled one back through Luke Aldrich.
