A FIVE-STAR second half performance saw Marine run out winners at home to relegation-threatened Liversedge.
Off the back of an impressive 2-0 victory against Morpeth, Marine started brightly, with Jack Dunn trying his luck from 30 yards inside two minutes.
However, it was the visitors who had the best chance of the first half, as Bayleigh Passant saved well to keep out Jack Carr’s near post effort.
Just five minutes into the second half and the Mariners were awarded a penalty, as Dunn was brought down.
