A VERY well-contested game, but injuries and bans caught up with Coleshill, with Shepshed’s pressing play deservedly taking the points. Shepshed took the lead after 15 minutes when Zayn Hakeem latched on to a fine through ball and drove a shot under keeper Paul Hathaway.
Coleshill came close to an equaliser when Ewan Williams had a header cleared off the line from a corner. A Mason Birch free-kick from near the corner flag went over the keeper, but was headed off the line by Niall Prenderville.
