TWO first-half goals were enough for Kidsgrove to earn all three points against a strong Clitheroe side.
The home side took the lead when Aaron Bott was brought down inside the box and Lewis Bergin stepped up to take the penalty and he powered it past Chris Thompson.
Kidsgrove added a second just before half-time with Josh Thorpe heading home from a corner. Clitheroe got one back early in the second half when Cameron Lancaster glanced a header in from a good freekick delivery.
