■ TRAFFORD slipped down to 15th place in the West Division as Workington deservedly earned the three points.
The visitors stormed ahead after just six minutes when David Symington cut in from the left and cracked a fine shot past Niall Jordan.
Although Workington dominated the possession, both sides squandered good chances before Symington slipped the home defence in the 76th minute, allowing Scott Allison to coolly side-foot home.
Trafford battled gamely and in the 82nd minute a neat move ended with Eliot Goldthorpe scoring.
