OSSETT United ended Grimsby Borough’s 12-game unbeaten run with a well-deserved battling victory.
The only goal of the game came as early as the seventh minute from the penalty spot.
The referee had no option but to point to the spot as striker James Walshaw was clearly pushed with two hands in his back.
Craig Nelthorpe dispatched the resulting kick into the bottom corner.
