STAMFORD ground out a hard-fought win at the expense of Boldmere.
The visitors started strong and had a couple of early chances with Lewis Gwilliams almost punching a Rob Morgan effort into his own net.
A bad backpass played Owen Parry in, but Dan Wallis saved his initial shot and Andre Browns’ follow-up as well.
Harry Vince played in a neat ball to Jack Duffy, but his shot was wide. A long throw was headed goalwards by Marshal
