FIRST-TEAM boss Robin van der Laan and assistant Paul Groves will step away from the Newcastle Town dugout at the end of the season.
The pair have been in charge of the Castle for six seasons. Prior to that, Van der Laan held a director’s role at the club, which he will return to once his spell in charge has finished.
During their time in charge, the pair have consolidated the club’s Step 4 status in NPL West division, while also seeing former players such as Ryan McLean and James Melhado land professional contracts.
