STEVEN Hewitt scored the only goal of the game to send three points back to Cheshire as Nantwich Town beat Gainsborough Trinity.
It was a forgettable first half for the Holy Blues. Trinity struggled to impose themselves on the game, save for a Clayton Donaldson strike straight at Tom Booth.
The visiting Dabbers would have been disappointed not to have led after a nervy opening forty-five. Matt Yates needed to be alert to smother at the feet of Connor Evans.
