BAMBER Bridge strengthened their place within the play-off spots, as two goals in eight minutes turned their game against Whitby Town on its head.
Harrison Beeden was both hero and villain for the visitors, scoring the game’s opening goal but then seeing red, resulting in a penalty that let the hosts clinch the match.
It was the Seasiders who enjoyed the opening quarter of the match. Harry Green latched onto a Shaun Tuton flick but could not find the net as Felix Goddard made a strong save six minutes in.
