GRESLEY Rovers beat the drop with a comfortable win against Daventry Town with a goal in each half sealing their deserved victory.
And the win could have been by a wider margin for the Moatmen as they created a series of scoring chances throughout the 90 minutes.
A very comfortable first half for Gresley saw them go into the break with a one-goal advantage courtesy of a 38th-minute penalty converted by James Spruce.
But it could have quite easily been more for the home side as they spurned several chances.
