WORKINGTON eventually won an eight-goal thriller after looking comfortably in charge at half-time. They had several attempts at goal before taking the lead on 35 minutes after United keeper Louie Turner had initially saved a header from Conor Tinnion but crucially couldn’t hold onto it.
Right before the break, substitute Steve Rigg hit the post with a header but Greg McCaragher retrieved the ball to set up Dav Symington, who scored from the edge of the area.
