■ KIDSGROVE faced a tough loss against a dominant City of Liverpool.
In the first half, the visitors controlled the game, creating numerous chances, while Kidsgrove struggled to get a single opportunity.
The Purps then took the lead in the 31st minute as Josh Quarless finished a well-orchestrated passing move to give his side the lead.
