HYDE United edged a close game thanks to Jack Redshaw’s winner 12 minutes from time.
The home side led on 17 minutes and it was no less than they deserved. A great team move led to Harry Ditchfield pulling a cross back to Harry Bunn in the box and he found the bottom corner.
Morpeth then had a great chance to equalise a few minutes later as Sam Waller made a save from Andrew Johnson and the ricochet was pounced upon by Ryan Donaldson but he fired over from just two yards when it looked easier to score.
