VAUXHALL Motors’ saw their winless run extend to five games as they were beaten at home by Runcorn Linnets, on Saturday afternoon.
Danny Holmes’ side dominated possession in the opening moments but the visitors’ defender Antony Kay edged his side into the lead with a brilliant shot that fired onto the crossbar before trickling over the line.
Motors were level at the break as Jay Harvey met a Ben Holmes cross with his head and VMFC started the second half on the front-foot.
