TRAFFORD goalkeeper Sam Booth was the hero for the visitors as he saved a first-half penalty from Lewis Doyle to ensure his side took a vital point in their battle to avoid relegation back to Greater Manchester.
Booth dived low to his right after 17 minutes to save Doyle’s spot-kick after Jordan Fagbola had fouled Runcorn debutant Mackenize O’Neill, who arrived on the morning of the game on loan from Bamber Bridge.
