■VAUXHALL Motors saw their run of games without a win extend to six as they were beaten by former promotion winning manager Mick McGraa’s Bootle.
Motors were 1-0 down at the break with a perfectly hit strike from top scorer Ben Hodkinson. Needing to keep the scoreline as narrow as what it was, home keeper Jack Atkin- son came out to tackle Bootle’s frontman who was through on goal and was dismissed for doing so.
Defender Ben Dufton-Kelly replaced him and Hodkinson added to his tally from the resulting free-kick.
