IT was a gritty battle at Northolme, as Newton Aycliffe grabbed a last-second equaliser in a draw with Sheffield FC.
The visitors thought they had taken the lead early on, as Liam Jarvie tapped into the empty net, only to have his effort ruled out for offside.
Sheffield took the lead after 39 minutes, following some great work from Nathan Modest on the right, teeing up AJ Greaves who smacked home a great finish from 15-yards out
