SOUGHT-AFTER striker Tom Cursons scored one and Ilkeston’s victory and would have had a hatful but for Morpeth keeper Dan Lowson - the veteran goalie, who starred for the Derbyshire side a decade ago, produced three brilliant saves to deny Cursons.
It left Ilkeston manager Ian Deakin, who arrived in the autumn, saying: “We have the makings of a very good side. We’ve won six and drawn two of the last eight and that’s fantastic.”
