■ GRIMSBY Borough produced an excellent display to record a comfortable win over Brighouse.
Scott Fenwick opened the scoring after just six minutes, firing low on the turn past Paul Cooper’s near post.
There was drama for the visitors when keeper Liam Higton hobbled off in pain on the half-hour, but with no keeper on the bench, he was replaced by centre-back Michael Jacklin.
