KIDSGROVE Athletic held off a late charge from Hanley Town in Friday’s Staffordshire derby at a rainy Potteries Park.
They took the lead in the 22nd minute when Tom Pope slid in at the far post to reach Aaron Bott’s low cross.
Just six minutes into the second half, Harry Goode delivered a pinpoint cross which was neatly finished by Jimmy Garlick to put the visitors in full control.
