AFTER two frustrating draws, Hebburn could be forgiven for fearing a third was on its way after fluffing two first-half penalties against nine-man Prescot Cables.
Instead, remaining patient paid off and the Hornets returned to winning ways even if the game’s outcome remained in doubt until Jack Donaghy met Liam Noble’s corner with an emphatic header deep into added time.
That they toiled is to the visitors’ enormous credit following the dismissals of Nathan Koehler and James Foley inside the opening half-hour.
