FC UNITED finally picked up three home points with a hard-fought win against a spirited Mickleover, fresh off their midweek win over Macclesfield.
The home side started well, Adam Le Fondre turning and shooting just wide on two minutes. but Mickleover hit back. Tyreace Palmer hit the inside of the post, the rebound falling to goalkeeper Connor O’Keefe. The Red Rebels took the lead on 12 minutes when Noah Halford, on loan from Bolton, headed home from a corner for a debut goal.
