BAMBER Bridge’s second-half surge gave them a 3-1 win over Leek Town, moving the Briggers up to 15th while their visitors sink to second-bottom.
Brig controlled possession for most of the first half but it was Town who created the best opportunity as Billy Reeves’ strike inside the penalty area was brilliantly saved by debutant Harvey Bardsley.
Just after the hour mark, Brig found a breakthrough as Jack Baxter’s low strike from 25 yards out was too powerful for Dino Visser to put the Briggers in front.
