HEBBURN Town kick-started their push for a play-offs place by ending a sequence of three defeats while completing a double over north-east rivals Blyth Spartans.
It leaves Michael Connor still searching for a first win as Spartans manager after eight failed attempts.
His side were playing catch-up from the eighth minute after Joao Gomes swapped passes with Dan Savage before sliding the ball past goalkeeper Adam Richardson.
