NIC Bollado’s late first half penalty proved decisive as Morpeth Town returned to winning ways by edging out in-form Gainsborough Trinity.
There were few chances either way in the first-half with both teams struggling to get the better of each other’s back line.
That was until the depths of added on time when Bollado got in behind and was taken out by goalkeeper Dylan Wharton inside the box. Bollado stepped up to convert the resulting spot-kick.
