A SECOND-HALF winner n from George Cater ensured Chasetown are in the play-off spots at Christmas.
The Scholars had fallen behind after 16 minutes as Jordan Windass opened his account for Clitheroe with a sweet strike through the legs of Curtis Pond.
However, just three minutes before the break Chasetown were level when they pinched the ball in the middle of the park and worked it out to the wing where Danny O’Callaghan crossed for Joey Bultin and his low strike found the net.
