Disputed pen boosts Rebels

A HOTLY-DISPUTED penalty proved to be the difference between the sides as FC United of Manchester took all three points.
FC United came close to taking the lead twice in the space of three minutes first when Aiden Dowling made an outstanding save to keep out a Jay Fitzmartin header and then when Sam Bailey cleared a Noah Halford header off the line.
Marcus Cusani had a couple of chances for Lancaster but Conor O’Keefe saved both.
Dowling denied Fitzmartin with another save following a Dylan Mottley-Henry cross.
