STOCKTON TOWN overcame Ilkeston Town in a superheated contest for the play-off places.
Kev Hayes struck close to hour mark to settle a full-blooded affair. The two sides went all-in at the final whistle as emotions boiled over.
It was just over a month since the two sides had last met. Anchors took the spoils on that evening thanks to goals from Hayes and Arj Purewal.
It was a healthy crowd for Non-League Day as 1,135 packed into Bishopton Road. The first half was a stalemate as neither side could get a grip on the game.
