CHAMPIONS Macclesfield strolled past down and out Blyth Spartans in a predictably one-sided top against bottom clash in the north-east.
An early ball from Brandon Lee five minutes in tested Blyth’s backline as D’Mani Mellor rose high to force a strong reaction save from Lewis Baker.
The visitors opened the scoring on 17 minutes when Neil Kengni, from the right, played a low ball into the six-yard box for top goalscorer Danny Elliot to fire the Silkmen in front.
