CHALFONT St Peter fell to a heavy defeat at Mill Meadow on a day when they never got going against Bedford Town.
Missing three players due to suspension, the home side got off to a bad start when Paul Cooper pounced on a loose ball and drove into the far corner to give the visitors the lead.
